There is no launch or land. Detach to launch and use orders to land.

So,

Move to <carrier fleet>
Join <carrier fleet>
Land  --  (You may need to assign motherships first, not sure)

and then when reayd to launch:

Detach <subfleet>

I still can´t get it to work. I have four carriers and i want to land on a spesific ship. Let´s say my carrier takes 6 fighters, i have made a fleet of 6 fighters and now i ask them to join. Their own group vanishes and i have to make the group again.
Can I assign mothership or parasites somewhere?

Have parasites as a separate fleet.
Select the soon to be mothership fleet with parasite fleet
Order "land +assign"
Now the ships are landed and part of the mothership fleet

To launch them you need to detach the fleet but I remember someone reporting that it wasn't working if detach the fleet but works one by one so you might need to test. Do not have a game which I could use to test right now

As of right now it seems you have to detach One fighter to make a new fleet, and then drag the fighters you want to launch into that fleet.   Which is fine for small strike groups but it makes launching  multiple waves incredibly tedious.   I just assumed there something that we are missing.

It`s just not working right now. How do you assign ammo for example, or have two different kinds of fighters.

On the Ship Details screen, assign a standard loadout for your fighter.  The mothership will now have options to rearm, refuel and/or repair parasites.

So, with Steve's hint in one of the bug threads, I figured the currently proper way to "launch" fighters.

In the "Naval Organization" window, select the fleet on the left side (after you've already landed & assigned fighters to their mothership), then look at the "Ship List" on the right side. Mass selecting of ships works in this list, so you can easily select the fighters you need and then press the Detach button to "launch" them.

Now fighter fleet targeting mothership's fleet should have "Land on Assigned Mothership" order, without the need to assign them again.

There's a bug with deployment clock going into negative at the moment though, so beware (not sure what problems it may cause, but it's not great obviously). Also, "Join as Sub-Fleet" does not land the fighters, so don't try that either.
