Title: Silly Newbie question about NPRs

Do they go to war and fight each other?  Especially, if one has colonized a few systems vs another large NPR empire?

They do, by starting with an NPR they can spawn other NPRs and spoilers and fight those which can slow the game down.

and its the same no matter what you do besides time spent in the game with NPRs active and if you start with any if not then you generate some and they will then go explore and possibly find more

Proven yet again, the best way to slow down & divert a SpaceMarine from galactic conquest is to ask them a question. :TzeentchiCackle:
