Maint Life 0 Years     MSP 0    AFR 99%    IFR 1.4%    1YR 122    5YR 1,837    Max Repair 147.20 MSP
Lieutenant Commander    Control Rating 1
Intended Deployment Time: 0.1 days    Morale Check Required

Magneto-plasma Drive  EP294.40 (1)    Power 294.4    Fuel Use 412.84%    Signature 294.40    Explosion 20%
Fuel Capacity 2,000 Litres    Range 0.2 billion km (1 hours at full power)

This design is classed as a Fighter for production, combat and planetary interaction

I wanted to see how fast I could get a Magneto-Plasma Ship to go, this one uses 0.7 fuel and 200% boost. Good for when you gotta go fast.

I've stocked AMMs slower than that.

Wait... the upper limit for ship speed of 100kkm/s is removed in C#? Did Steve mentioned it somewhere or it is a bug?

The maximum speed in Aurora hasn't changed.  It has always been 270k km/s, which is 0.9c.

An equal tech ASM has a 100% CTH against that.  My missiles' CTH gets rounded down to zero.  :(

If not mistaken, the mass increase at 0.9c is +110%.

The Lorentz boost at 0. 9c is actually a factor of 2. 3, so even more than that!

Hmm, then I get the wrong impression from somewhere. Although the missile's max speed was 299000km/s in VB6, now it is reduced to 270000km/s

I just double checked and you are correct.  It was 299k in VB, which is 0.997c.  The 100k km/s you might have been thinking of is the 4x BFC maximum speed rating.

If not mistaken, the mass increase at 0.9c is +110%.

On the other hand ships in Aurora do not actually have a velocity above what it started with before turning on the Tran-Newtonian drive. There are no physical velocity change from our worlds perception, the ship use the Eather to physically shift from place to place.

So, ships rather teleport or bend space and time to move from one physical location to the next.

The only thing that matter for a ship moving in Aurora is volume and not mass.
