The day and the year are both 45 terran hour long. Obviously tidaly locked. So there's indeed a "cold" side.

It's surprising that the atmosphere is not also composed of vaporized iron (Boiling point of iron is 2862 °C, a tiny bit lower than the average temperature on this hellhole)
