Good idea. There could be separate prefixes for military and commercial ships. There should also be a way to exclude fighters and facs.

It would be nice to have place (in the race screen or class design) where you can put prefix (HMS etc.) and it would be automatically added to the ships name when building them if you want.

It isn't a big improvement or anything as it's pretty easy to do yourself but I think it would be cool :P

Try subsiding your company with 100k or so, you will see couple ships after that :)

There should be button assign firecontrols for all ships of the class or something similar in the combat window(?) I think. I use it to assign firecontrols and stuff myself

I've seen you do these fights against almost 1000% difficulty NPR, (thats cool I have to say) but do you have 1 from the start or do you explore until it generates one? I did one 500% I think or so but without any starting NPRs and it was pretty lame or I just had good luck. couple thousand missiles with some self guidance and it ripped their all fleets (military and civilian ones) into pieces. Sorry if that didn't make any sense :D

Oh well I now usually just create huge survey ships with both survey tools and so much fuel that they could probably survey huge trinary systems if I had enough time.

Primary
A) send a tanker to refuel the stranded ship

Secondary
B) send another ship to join the task group & Equalize fuel tanks

you can also set conditional orders for your ships so they refuel when they are getting low on fuel

My ships don't usually care about cond refuelling orders. Especially those survey ships :(

Ehh just started playing 1000% difficulty with no starting NPR but 90% gen. Second jump point and I ran into some bugs, 1 X 200,000ton and 4 X 60,000ton -.- and something like 200 little ones. After couple hours all big ones are destroyed (with missiles) and most of the little ones. Was nice fight though a bit lopsided, I mean I sent 300, 600 and 1200 salvoes at those big ones (from fighters) 200,000 ton monster took something like 2000 missile hits or something (9WH)

I think Saturn has like 13m Sorium at 0. 8 or something so no worries there for a while :) Found pretty nice amounts of everything in the Sol system except for Corbonite (couple thousands only).  There's going some massive wars atm though, at least it takes a while to do anything :P and I've already lost 4 survey ships to precursors but soon they will feel the wrath of my light carrier group!

1 jump from Sol is this little system.    Only 3 planets so it kinda sucks though and with low minerals.    (attachment too if the pic doesn't load)

Same happened to me, I just deleted the system (lost a couple ships though :/).  I think the precursors are following at a set distance or something, and they can't reload those boxlaunchers so. . . .  Eternal 5 sec!
