Graphics issues
« on: January 19, 2010, 09:22:55 PM »
Ok, I installed version 4.75 of Aurora and set my resolution to 1280x1024, and part of the starting window is still cut off. I'm running windows XP with a geforce 8600 and a 22" monitor, if that helps. Anyway, what could be the problem?

Are you using large fonts?

Are you talking about the New Game window, as that is well within the resolution requirement, or do you mean a different window? Could you upload a screenshot to show the problem? Upload Attachment below will load an image directly into your post.

I had the exact same issue, Steve.

I'm pretty sure the OP is referring to windows such as Economics, Research, et al.

I fixed it by unchecking the 'hide unsupported resolutions' box on the 'Monitor' tab under 'Advanced' in settings and selecting 1920x1200.

Even then I still had to set my taskbar for autohide.
