Athena Andreas' "The Biology of Star Trek" is one of the best science books I've ever read, and I'm very discriminating when it comes to science books. I taught a high school science class which used that as a textbook. I've heard good things about this one, but never read it.

I'm reading this book (in Italian translation) and it is very interesting so far.
Not complicated, easy read.
