Hello, this is my first post at this forum. I want to congratulate the Aurora's developer.
I install Aurora few days ago and i was learning how to play reading post at this forum and the aurora wiki. But for two days the Aurora wiki is off:
"Error 500 - Internal Server Error
An error was encountered while processing your request. Typically this is a temporary condition. Please contact the web site owner for further assistance. "
It's off for ever or only for maintenance?

Someone has the wiki information in other format (PDF)? To read it while the wiki is down.

It's a shame as the wiki was the best resource for looking things up, but it was destroying the servers performance for some reason. I would choose the forums over the wiki.

I disagree. The wiki has so much information in such a presentable manner, its basically impossible for new players to get into Aurora without it.
That is of course unless they want to search for hours for a single piece of information in these forums that may or may not exist.

It's true the wiki is a better encyclopaedic source of arcane knowledge, however the forum is the Aurora community and drives development, not just of our own games but also Steve's development of the game receives valuable insight from us, Aurora wouldn't exist as it is without the community, hell im sure we give Steve valuable support for all the hard work he does which in a way helps drive the Aurora train forwards.
The wiki however is just a large pile of facts, nice to have but not essential.
In fact even after hours pouring through the wiki looking for information I still overlook things that are pointed out quickly in discourse here. In no way do I deny that the wiki is an awesome resource for new players, but my point stands that the performance problems it gave the forum was terrible for the community. Though maybe without 10,000 people downloading Autora from the host we might survive the wiki being turned back on? Perhaps an argument could be made for migrating the wiki to that evil den of invasive advertising and poorly formatted incomplete lists of facts that is wikia.

The wiki is throwing errors with zend.
I don't know enough about mediawiki to begin to fix it. If there is anyone here who has experience on the backside of mediawiki, let me know.

Erik Luken and me where able to fix it.
What happend was that the wiki tried to update itself around 25/28of April, and currupted the installation. The database was unharmed, so we recreated the mediawiki code from scratch against the excisting database.
Would evryone be so kind to test and report errors bugs that we might have missed.
We are aware of the error on top of the page. The Solution for that i already send to Erik, and he wil fix that when he has the time. SOLVED
