Good luck on the move, hope it all goes well.

This is the time things a purposely lost or accidently lost. Lets just hope it is not the Aurora source code <grin>

I selflessly volunteer to safeguard the Aurora codebase, just e-mail the source files to me!  >.>

Just out of curiosity Steve is the sources files properly backed up in multiple places. Or do you subscribe to all technical literate people motto "do as I say not as I do"

I am thinking your source files might be stored on a 3.5" floppy, that been overwritten 99 times and was bought 8 years ago.

Never trust a tech when he says I have it backed up ..... somewhere .... I think.

I usually back up to a separate hard-drive every few days and then to a USB stick about once a month. I probably should do it more often than that :)

Watch out for USB sticks. I had one go bad on me recently and it was a bitch to recover all the files I needed. I've been using Microsoft Groove as a backup/sharing between multiple computer solution. Works nicely.

You should really look into one of the free internet source control solutions.  At the very least, you can zip up the source and e-mail it to yourself every now and then, so that it's saved on someone's e-mail servers, and won't be lost in the case of someone stealing your electronics or some kind of home disaster.  Obviously it'd be the least of your worries in that situation, but it'd be one less worry to have at all if you had an off-site backup solution.

Github might be worth looking at, just make sure it is a private/closed project so nobody can view the source.

Dropbox is also a good solution, I find this nice when doing stuff for myself that does not involve a team.
