PDC refits?

I've searched the forum, but I haven't been able to find an answer to this.

Is there any way to refit or upgrade a PDC?

I don't think so, as they are factory objects, not shipyard objects.

I suspected as much.  It would be nice to be able to refit them, though.  Realistically, I'm not sure if there would be a reason why you couldn't.
