Event messages on the system map

Hi folks-

I just downloaded 6.4 after an absence and was delighted to see that events now appeared on the system map screen! But I noticed that the results of geological surveys don't appear there, and I assume there are other messages that are similarly filtered. Is there someplace where I can set which messages appear and which don't?

Events on the System Map has been an option since long before I started playing in v5.6.  It's a tickbox on the main "Display" pane on of the System Map Controls.  I believe it reflects the same filter settings as on the regular Event Window.

I can confirm the default settings will cause minerals found messages to be displayed in the event log but not on the system map.
