Instagram has decided that it owns all rights to pictures hosted there, and may sell the pic, username, likeness, etc. to advertisers with no notification. The only opt-out is to delete the account before January.

I take it that they are the sight host?
What brought up the subject?

Well, not precisely true, they still say you own the rights to the photos, but they are arguing that by using their service, you are giving them and their advertisers permission to use your photos.
So you can still do what you like with your stuff, but they apparently can too. Which is pretty damn seedy, especially since they have no age limitation and they will use pictures of people who may not themselves be on Instagram.

No, the host is lunarpages. Though I've noticed some people link screen shots from instagram.

After I posted the question I what I should have done first...searched. Instagram is now owned by Facebook. That alone tells me the source of this action.

Though it would be interesting having a screenshot of the Aurora system map on the side of a bus...

Or perhaps a ship design screen, it would be gloriously baffling to nearly everyone who sees it.

"Nearly?"
