I really appreciated your tutorial for getting started.  It helped make sense of the maddening mass of spreadsheets!

A military followup would be amazing, cause I have tried several times and everything about it is completely mystifying to me!
There are plenty of other places that already give an example and would help. Also, keep in mind that this basic tutorial was for a few versions ago so information isn't 100% accurate. The Tutorial, Advanced Tactical Community, and Bureau of Ship Design will be your best friends (no matter how crazy the people in them seem  ;)).

Hey, i've started writing a military design followup, I'm really sorry to have left it this long.  You guys know how it is. You try to do things, and 10 feet of snow fall on your house, and the next thing you know you've moved 100 miles and you don't know where your pants are.

Thanks, Deadly Shoe! - One amazing beginner's tutorial that helps a newbie like myself see what an amazing game Aurora is.   Hope to see more from you in the future!

Yes, anything else would be amazing. I want so badly to be able to play Aurora and your tutorials have almost got me all the way there.

Hey guys just wanted to apologize for not finishing this. Lost my notes and my motivation from a combination of RL and a hard drive failure a few months ago.  The tutorial game is easily recoverable though and I intend to get back to it.  Perhaps after 6.4, that would be a good time.

Looks like the good time has just arrived. Waiting for news here ......  :)

Thanks for this walkthrough. . .  especially the hints, tips and explanations.
I patiently await the next installment.
In the meantime, I'll go over this walkthough again just to 'lock in' my understanding.
