Been in Vegas since Monday, drove to the grand canyon and back again on Tuesday - 550 mile round trip, 10 hours me driving whole time!

Tried a 50cent blackjack machine with 20 dollars, went down to 14 and back to 20 then cashed out. Might try a 10 dollar table later. It 'appears' to be straight forward enough...

Bellagio to tonight for buffet and then go find some Shenanigans!
How did the Shenanigans turn out?

Steve

We gave a very poor showing of ourselves unfortunately :(

Took one whole day to drive to Grand Canyon and back again so that fecked us up. On the last night we went to the Bellagio for the dinner buffet but by the time we queued and finally ate (a lot) it was late and that much food killed us. Tried to revive the night but it was lackluster.

We got home late Thursday night and then went to Austin on Friday - had a fricking blast, my friends got absolutely smashed while I got  body shot in Coyote Ugly and tried to keep them away from bouncers and the police. So that made up for some of the Vegas non-starts.

There are many forms of entertainment in Las Vegas that don't involve gambling :)
3) Don't ask Taxi drivers to suggest a location. They are on commission and don't care if someone rips you off.
4) Despite the fact it is illegal in Vegas you will be tripping over members of the world's oldest profession pretty much everywhere in the hotel bars :)
6) Should you choose to give one (or perhaps more) professionals a tour of your suite, lock all valuables/credit cards in the safe and be discreet about typing in the number.
7) Make sure that before any business transactions begin, you understand exactly what the fee will cover and the length of time involved.
8 ) Don't believe anything you can't verify, no matter how nice they may seem :)

Indeed so.  As a gamer you could try the Vegas "Collectable Card Game" developed by one of my friends when she went there (with her boyfriend) as part of a Trek America holiday recently.  There are a plentiful number of (mostly Hispanic) gentlemen who distribute the business cards for "ladies who offer personal services".  These have pictures on.  See how many different ones you can get.
She managed dozens.  "No, got her.  And her.  Oooh, not got that one."

Stephen
PS. Probably best just to take the cards, or you might collect some other things.

Should be. I am going away this week though as the UK Poker Tour is in Luton, near London and I have booked a hotel down there. I leave on Tuesday and should be back on Sunday night.

IMPORTANT! This patch includes a minor database change. I didn't want to release a new database just for this one change but you will have to trigger the database update. When you enter the Game window for the first time, there will be an error popup. Ignore this and select any game. Now go to the Game menu on the main menu bar and select v5.14 Data Update. You should almost immediately see a popup stating "Update Complete". Your database is now updated and ready to continue. This won't affect any saved game.

This is a bug-fix patch that will only work on v5.10 or later. To apply the patch just unzip the Aurora514.zip.exe into the installation directory, overwriting Aurora.exe. Don't forget to follow the above instructions when you run the game for the first time.

Steve,any release date for 5.2?

Ty srry for un-patient:)
A week or two. I am still thinking about the whole Narrowband sensor question - particularly now someone has pointed out the downside for cloaked ships.
