After several ingame days of careful maneuvering, the battle that will decide the fate of the entire sector is about to begin.    Then you realise what your officers had been screaming about the whole time:

Since I still count as a "new member", could a mod please make those images display properly? (Just replace the code tags)

How fighters feel when AMMs choose them as targets.

I was inspired by this thread: http://aurora2.pentarch.org/index.php?topic=7994.0 ...and though I first thought the random idea was way too complicated to realize -like so many other-, I randomly found a way of doing it yesterday.

Warning, this post is long. You will scroll down so much, people in China are already laughing at the punchline.

This is perfect. I had no idea the Yamamoto was designed by an aurora player :p

I've recently come to watch and finish the Yamato anime which you pointed me too. :) So much better than that weird live action movie. That dimensional submarine episode was the most amazing thing. "How to dive down in space, so we can have traditional navy warfare again? Well, if height is already taken, just add another dimension, duh!" Genius. Also renewed my view on Aurora cloaking technology.
..And right after that this space horror psi episode.. . It is a pretty amazing show. One of the few ones that has an acceptable ending too.(though still a bit rushed and clunky, because Japan, where the journey is the goal)

Yamamoto was a guy, Yamato was a ship, named after one of the provinces of Japan

My Theodidactus, now I see that you are excessively simple of mind and more gullible than most. The Crystal Sphere you seek cannot be found in nature, look about you...wander the whole cosmos, and you will find nothing but the clear sweet breezes of the great ethereal ocean enclosed not by any bound

Tomato tomamoto

That is Brilliant! I'm gonna start to mix those two up on purpose just to be able to use this reply.

would've been awesome if Yamamoto had raised his flag on Yamato,  sadly he never did

however I've just discovered there is a Bikini model named Azusa Yamamoto,  ready made nose art for the space battleship!

pity she wasn't in the cast of the movie

What do you mean he never did?

Yamamoto led operation Midway from the bridge of Yamato in 1942.

I knew he lead Midway,  though I didn't know he was on Yamato,  I stand corrected
