The Trade League is the NDR, NZDL and ENC.
The Role Play is that they decided to handle their space program and international relations jointly, while keeping control within their borders on Earth. But We're probably going to play as if it's just one nation.

Who exactly is in the Trade League?

Just to let you know the merge was a huge success for me I was able to do 6 months worth in about 3 hours.

Thanks to the newly installed Trade League for doing this. However I think they will reap the benefits of this option for them soon enough.

Did some tests and the 80 to 400 did not really improve speed if anything only a minor amount.

I deleted 3 races and the time instead of being 1.30 minute for 5 days was 20 secs, With a merge with races increasing I am expecting about 30-45 seconds so this is a massive improvement.

1.30 sometimes blow out to 5-7 minutes, so the test was on a segment which has low to medium amount of activity, over a month period. Also the number of 2-3 day event decrease as well with less races. As suspected its more to do with sensor data then anything else.

I emailed both potential groups for mergers, as I said I am not forcing the issue, if it something you do not wish to do, then I could perhaps work out another way where instead of fixed start and end dates I can get through a 3-4 block and post how many days done.

The Trade League has decided to merge. Both gameplay-wise and (except on Earth) roleplay-wise.

I hope it will help with your pc.

Computer specs are as follows

i5-2500, 8 GB of RAM, Windows 7 64bit. As you can see not a slow machine.

The reason for majority of the issues is number of processes for each race needed to be checked. If we get even the trade league to merge since they are a strong allies it should cut down the intercepts a huge amount. However it might give them a huge advantage that why I opened it up for all.

Also I am yet to test  Vynadan suggested.

The NDR and the ZDL are willing to merge. We don't know yet if the ENC will merge with us as well.

you could pass the save to someone with a bigger meaner and stronger pc, for calculations only, and then get it back to make the orders.

We'll see what we need, I am open to a merger for the AD. Forcing 30 day increments could work too, but we lose a bit of fine control over stuff. Specifically research lab time. But needs must and so on.

Thanks for that input I will change those details if no one objects.

That is partial delay the other part you may or may not notice on a 5 day turn it may only move 2 hours into 5 days and I may have to do that 8 times. This will get worst on interrupts, however, if the speed improvements you suggest help, that will be considerable. I could also do auto run for 5 days that, as an option.

But I am leaving the merger question open for others just in case this is an option for them. It will help on my side a lot as well, as far as number of orders.

Well, the AH doesn't really have any close alliances to anyone, so I won't feel spoken to on that account.

Something I'd like to point out is that the construction cycle is still set to 80,000 instead of the usualy 400,000. That's five times the normal calculations in a five day increment. Setting this back to calculate building, orbital movement and other stuff to once every five days should increase the performance significiantly if it's just the number of factions and colonies that's taxing your system.

Other than that, disabling orbital movement should give at least a minor boost (more so if it continues to be calculated every day, instead of every five days).
