This is where I am going to put the designs from my UEG (Unified Earth Government) game for review from you guys so when I start my UNSC game, I shall be prepared. Note: The design doctrine of these ships are meant to model what they are in the Halo universe, very large, with some exceptions based on game mechanics. Ship classes in size (fighter/gunboats are given based on mechanics); Prowler:1k-10k tons, Corvette: 10k-30k tons, Frigate: 30k-40k tons, Destroyer: 60k-80k tons, Cruisers 100k-200k tons, Large capital ships (battleships/carriers) 200k-1m tons, SuperCapital ships: 2m+ tons. Main weapons will be Gauss Turrets/Cannons and Anit-Ship Missiles. Due to limitations in game mechanics, instead of massive MACs (gauss cannons), ships will have an allotment of gauss cannons based on their class; Frigates: 10k-26k, Destroyers: 20k-53k, Cruisers+: varies with design. Almost every ship is meant for mass redundancy and troop carrying capacity. The ships will try to be as accurate as possible to visible and known systems and weapons.
Lets start with geo-survey, the Iceni (no known class fits the description but the UNSC Iceni was used as a survey shuttle), the cargo ship, the Onan class (known cargo vessel) and the colony ship, the Phoenix class. There are several things missing about the classes, like its weight, but Phoenix is about the size of a cruiser, the Iceni is a small ship, and the Onan is large but small compared to other cargo ships.
