Just asking for a spot of advice, have found some much need Neutronium on Halle Bop, have managed to get a mass driver on there and i am in the process of delivering automines, very slowly
I have 2 on there but no packet has been sent yet - is there a minimum number of mines before the comet starts sending the goodies?
-
No. Did you set the destination in the mining window on the comet? And does Earth have another mass driver to receive?
-
Set destination earth
Does earth not start with a mass driver in c#?
I suppose even if I didn’t have one on earth I’d see the packets on their way?
I’ll check there’s a destination again
-
Are you just not seeing packets or are you also not seeing minerals being deducted from the mining colony inventory?
I believe you have to specifically switch on a display setting to be able to see mass driver packets.
-
Only bodies with mass driver present can be selected as Mass Driver Destination in Mining tab. So if Earth has no mass driver, it cannot be selected.
Do you have Mineral Packet checkbox checked? Packets are not visible by default. You need to check the box to see them: Left side menu in system view - Display tab - Mineral Packets.

I don't understand: had you any mines on the comet, when mass drivers were installed? so, are minerals mined/stored on the comet?
A mass driver can send minerals only if at least one mine is active on the body.
