how to research 20cm laser?

hi guys,

can you tell me what is necessary to get the "20cm laser focal size" to show up in the research list?.  have already researched the 12+15 cm
variants but the 20cm laser still don´ t show up.  according to the database the only prerequisite(1) is the 15cm laser.
i also have tried to research the ship component "15cm laser" after finish of the 15cm laser, but this make no difference.

what can i do? :-)

really nice game.  found it by an accident (youtube commentar in an other 4x game).

ok, now i see the tech under the entry "20cm carronade".  no idea i have missed the entry or it pops up randomly.

Carronades are not the same as Lasers.

You can switch between all projects, completed projects and available projects when looking at the research menu. Be sure you have the correct one selected, else you just see your already done research.

i´m no natural english speaker, and thats proably the reason for this.
i mean with "under the entry": the 20cm laser entry appears in the same list (energy weapons) direct after the carronade list entry.

The way Aurora categorizes research projects (alphabetically) means that the 20cm laser project is not in the same place as the 15cm laser project.
