Thanks for the update! Are new releases usually not savegame compatible?I'm way too invested to give up my current game so that was disappointing news.
I already love it...what are the chances?
Looks great. Thanks, Steve. The minor releases (1. 12. 1, 1. 12. 2, etc. ) tend to be compatible, while the major releases (1. 10, 1. 11, 1. 12, etc. ) are not.
Makes sense. I'm having way too much fun with my current game to abandon it, but maybe someday I will restart and take advantage of these great fixes. This game is amazing once you learn enough to get into it. I've never felt closer to actually running a Pournelle Empire of Man or a more "realistic" interstellar empire.
There were a lot of changes and fixes in this patch. Therefore, don't start any major campaigns until the patch has been out for at least 48 hours.

game has been quite uneventful so far, no npr (gen chance 30%) and no precursors/ruins (gen chance 20%) anywhere, despite the abundance of habitable worlds found.can it be something I've overlooked in the game setup?
