Stellaris
« on: August 22, 2015, 12:17:52 PM »
So earlier this month (I think), Paradox Development Studio announced a space strategy called Stellaris. PDS make grand strategies like Crusader Kings, Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron and so on which I love and Stellaris will run on the clausewitz engine, the same one used for their grand strategies. It looks really interesting if you like space strategy games (which I assume you do). Anyone else going to check it out when it comes out?

Yeah it looks pretty rad.

Looks like theyve learned a lot from other space 4x games. Hopefully this one will even be fast enough to play multiplayer in ;)

considering how well Crusader Kings II works multiplayer, and this runs on the same engine,  I don't think it running slow is going to be the issue...

EUIV works pretty well in multiplayer though.

It does in CKII as well,  sorry I gave the wrong impression,  It works really well,  getting people around for the length of time it requires is another matter

Oh, my bad then. In my experience CKII's multiplayer has been very temperamental.
