Medals
« on: June 29, 2013, 07:09:08 PM »
With Realistic Promotions, I'm wanting to create some medals. Among the usual time in service medals, I'm also wanna create some combat reward medals. My questiob is what is generally a good promotion value for any medal I create based on it's type(I.E. guy was in service for 10 years versus heroism under fire)?

Hmm. Well, extrapolating from the existing rules...

A generic "Participated in battle" been-there-done-that award is probably good for a favorable nod. I'd peg it under a 10% political reliability. Call it 50 points.

Time served is valued at 25/year, max 100. I'd guess each 10, 20, 30 year service star would be an extension worth another 100 points.

"Heroism under Fire" sounds like a semi-rare medal that automatically earns a little extra respect. I'd peg it just under the value of a 15% political reliability, or 200 points.

Your highest, rarest, and most esteemed medal might be up there with a 20% political reliability, or 400 points.

Just one thought.
