Transporting Missiles
« on: January 23, 2014, 01:51:57 PM »
I couldn't find an answer to this in a brief search here and on the wiki.  I've been operating on the assumption that I could just load missiles into the cargo hold on my freighters, but this doesn't seem to be an option.  So do I need to design a collier ship(with magazines instead of cargo holds), or how does one go about moving missiles around?

A collier with mags is the only way.

Could I just use the magazine space on my warships?  Does the collier tag in the class design need to be ticked?

Yes, you can use your warships as colliers, they just won't have as much space as a dedicated collier ship.

Does the collier tag in the class design need to be ticked?

The tags are to enable a few more TG orders when interacting with the ship making stuff colliers do a bit easier to manage. For example allowing ships in the same fleet to auto load ammo from the collier.

How do you transfer missiles between warships? I don't see any ordnance equivalent for transferring fuel, MS, etc.

You can use the Ordnance Management tab on the Ship window.
