How do I remove mined-out colonies from the Population and Production screen?

Careful though, abandonment means that everything stationed on the colony, strctures, inhabitants, commanders I think, maybe even ships, are permanently lost to the aether.

Personally, I just rename them with an "(X)" at the end of the title, because it takes a very long time for me to move everything out.  This also ensures I don't mistakenly attempt to put stuff that doesn't belong there, there, and also lets me set up freighter orders more easily.
