Black holes and jump point interconnectivity
« on: January 18, 2012, 09:05:57 PM »
I have found two black holes thus far with real stars in use(start in sol), but both of them possessed only one jump point. Is that unlucky of me or are black holes currently useless?

Black holes are a neat piece of terrain.  Depending on size, they can be true barriers to exploration until tech gets beefier.

That you found no jump points in them simply depends on a combination of luck and the settings you used to generate your galaxy.

There's an example down in RedKing's fiction, I believe, that has a starmap with systems beyond the blackhole.
