These are shiny as hell - with 1.10 implementing hotkeys, is there any chance of a version of these that would include said hotkey? Tucked down in the lower left corner of the icon, perchance?

I missed these on my first pass, here's all the screen control buttons:

Great work, minimalist yet intuitive.

Maybe putting some kind of "stamp" upon the "intelligence" paper. "Top Secret" kind of stamp.

Good call:

I really like that the "design X" windows all share the wire-frame aesthetic (and that no others do). . . it tells my brian that "wire frame = design".

Brilliant work! For the sector button, I'd say several stars connected with hyperlanes surrounded with a line similar to the fleet view.

You read my mind! I was just thinking that in the shower.

EDIT: Here we go!

These are great.   I have to say I prefer the less noisy alt-schemes, but these would be very nice in any capacity.   Possible suggestion: (lightly) Color scheme them by their general areas, like green for civilian, Blue for military, yellow for diplomacy, etc.   this would probably help new players a ton in understanding/remembering the functions of the buttons.   Perhaps just a subtle color outline around the perimeter of the box?

If I were home I’d give it a shot myself, But I’m away from my computer for a few days.

Thanks for the praise! I'm open for changing them in whatever way makes the most sense, but for now I'm trying just to make a unified style. If it's deemed necessary, colors will come after. But I'll definitely keep it in mind!

Really liking these icons :)

He's mentioned possibly enabling custom themes, but I'm more than happy to let him use this as the default if he likes it.

When I finally get ahead of the bugs, I will look at how to import different icon schemes.

I would totally not be opposed to you going to steve and working with him to get something like this implemented for icons later down the road as the current ones are not exactly the best and it also shows how to properly assist steve and create new content for aurora.

Alrighty, I've included re-designs. I just need to figure out sector.... I might just cheap out and go with a government building as it is now...

EDIT:
That's really cool! If I'm being picky, I don't really understand the turrets logo. All I see is three toasts coming out of a toaster next to two screwdrivers  ;)

That's exactly what my wife said too: I hope the alt is better!
