It has taken me longer than I'd hoped to get back into a routine with enough time to continue my fiction, but I think I'm there and new fiction should be posted on a regular (ish) basis again.

Good.

I've been unable to post fiction updates recently as my wife has delivered a healthy baby to give us a son and my daughter a brother  ;D.  As you can imagine I have been a little busy.

Congratulations.

Great news! Congrats! :)

Thanks for the encouragement.  The Battle of Sirius was very interesting; it demonstrated to me what a small force of ships with a massive technological advantage could and could not acheive against a much larger force.

I have really been enjoying your writeup of this campaign.  Can't wait for each instalment of the Battle of Sirius, shaping up to be a very interesting battle.

Me too, I'm writing the next report up from the perspective of the commander of the 5 ships about to face over 40 Hushnak warships  :o

Bring me my brown pants!

I'm kind of missing the first person stories.  I'm wondering if some mixture would work well.

I looking for people's opinions.  In this campaign, I've mostly been writing from a campaign report perspective (temporal humans aside) rather than a first person view.  Before I start the next year of reports, would people prefer that I returned to the first person view I used for large sections of the previous campaign?
