That's interesting, I'll check for myself. Also I see your post shows being edited.

This post is edited, but does the forum display that it has been?

Curiously I just  successfully edited this post from about a month ago: http://aurora2.pentarch.org/index.php?topic=7258.msg80107#msg80107
It edited fine, including stating at the bottom of the post that it has been.

Edit: this is really weird, now it is in fact saying the post is edited.

Ok, as can be seen I can edit my posts made after the change to the new forum, but still not posts made before that.

When trying to edit "reply 328" I see the following:
When using the lower right edit button after I hit save the "loading" bar shows up over the message but it doesn't actually save it
When I use "modify" then I get the following error:
                      Error 403 Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server.

I have not logged out and back on though.  Even so for new posts everything seems to work normally.

This post has infact been edited!

Logged out and back in...tried to edit reply 328 and no dice it still won't save the changes (using the lower right edit button)

I just posted and edited, then accidentally deleted the post.
I noticed however that the post didn't mention being edited.

I checked permissions and regular users have the right to edit their own posts

Hmm. I've modified posts recently. Have you logged out and back in?
I made this exact post yesterday, but my connection crashed and I forgot to resubmit .

Hello Erik,
I tried to edit a post in my AAR using the button to the lower right...the window opens just fine and I can type but when I click save it doesn't seem to do so.

I tried then to use the modify button and again mechanically it works but when I hit "post" it tells me I have to be logged in to do this.

Not sure if this is just me, but it is certainly odd!!
