My entire Survey Command has approximately the same total BP cost and fuel consumption, and possibly hundreds times less RP cost, as this Northumberland lasy monster, and they was able to fully survey tens of systems (at 2 or 3 voyages with reloads) before they needed a maintenance overhaul, and their speed gives them an ability to likely break off any enemy ship, they can encounter...

I think, about 2/3 of this map was discovered by those V4x survey corvettes pack:

Yeah, I don't quite know how this turned into a Spruce Goose, but there it is.  It will likely remain the only ship of its class.  Real kicker is that it uses commercial engines, so I can't use it as jump tender when my commercial bulk haulers are close to 80000 tons (two installations/ship and TGs of five ships lets me plop 10 of most things at a pop).
