Make NPR AI

I created an NPR but it seems that it's not AI controlled - it doesn't produce or research and it doesn't move at all. How can I turn it into AI?

Did you select the "Create as NPR" option on the race creation screen? All NPRs are AI-controlled (NPR stands for Non-Player Race).

Unfortunately you can't turn it into an AI now.  When you are creating the NPR, there is a tick box for "computer controlled" that you need to tick.  The down side is ticking this box removes almost all your control over the design philosphy and operations of the NPR.

You should be able to delete the race and re-create it as an NPR, if you are still interested.
