FACs in Carriers
« on: September 27, 2010, 05:27:22 PM »
I apologize if this is a silly question.

I've been setting up my first real game and ran into a slight problem, is it possible to load some 1000 tons (20TCS) FACs into a carrier? And if so is there a way to add it somehow to the preferred strikegroup load out page during design? I've noticed that only fighters (under 500tons) show up in the load out selection list.

So thats why your first post disappeared. Everything of low enough tonnage can fit in a Hangar, if you build a big enough mothership, you can put your carriers in carriers.
I don't think theres a way of getting anything bigger than fighters into the ship on that menu.

Your Jump Scout wont be able to jump using that JD, it is rated at 400 but your Scout is rated at 450. The design screen should show an error in the lower right when certain design flaws like this creep in.
