Precursors with no base?
« on: July 04, 2014, 07:41:46 AM »
I was attacked in Alpha Centauri by what SM View revealed to me to be Precursors. I managed to take the system, but it's my understanding that Precursor ships only appear in systems where there's an installation of theirs to be found. So far active, thermal and EM sensors aren't finding anything on any of the planets, moons or asteroids.

Geo-survey for ruins. It may also be that they don't need a base, but that there is just a high probability for there to be one. Can't really recall at this moment if that's right or not.

Yes, found it. Blummin' tiny considering how nasty the ships guarding it were. Going to send some assault ships to take it. It's only thermal 5, and I've been told by Hydrofoil that's about listening post size.
