The Republic of Hamir has not let up they have attacked every three months for a whole year and earth is barely surviving.

January 20th, BeijingJanuary attacks the world was hit, salvo after salvo. Only the thin veil of the NPR gauss satellites were the difference between winning and annihilation. China lost the last of of its civilian ships. With minimal Duranium, not much could be accomplished it need to rely on the other factions.
February 10th, BrusselsFebruary, OPAB sent slow moving box launch missile satellites to the gateway.
February 28th, RomeThe last of the gauss satellites completed all 20 of them, Duranium stocks are now so low that even these small defensive units can not be completed. The Pope gives his blessings and call them the defenders of mankind. So they have been. The Crusader Fleet was destroyed in the January Attacks, none of the other factions has anything defensie platforms and only the OPAB have long reaching missile platforms, which has at least kept the laser frigates away from Earth.

Romo Systems ASS MR1-R1 (1) GPS 24 Range 1.4m km MCR 157k km Resolution 1April 1st, Brussels8 Hamir vessels jump into the system, they are jump blind, however scattered from the the Jump Point. 10 Wildschwan missile satellites which were towed out in the previous month fire a volley at each the enemy vessels. All target were hit with volley of 6, not a single ship were destroyed, there was a couple of ships wounded in the exchange and headed back into their own system. The satellites were then systematically destroyed. Rear Admiral Thomas Goodwin slammed his fist down on his desk, this would not happen again. A better way need to be devised.

The April attacks was a devastation and a turning point, for Earth. The enemy missile at 14,000 kms were to quick for the CSU corvette new missile, and dependent on the location of the last sensor reading, the NPR was either very effective or not at all. The shipyard of Earth took the brunt, with only China and OPAB coming out with shipyards intact. Fortunately there was no hits on Earth, so the atmosphere was still breathable, but with 6% of the population dying each year due to radiation sickness the world was not in a good shape.
May 10th, RomeThe operations room in rome analysed the effectiveness of the defence and found deficiencies in the tactics. They new they could not allow 30% inbound again, in truth they could not allow even 1% through or Earth was finished. Squire Yolanda longoria came up with the solution if they divided the defence platform into two and push them towards the enemy at 30K and 60K, then there 40K range would provide greater coverage and possibly get two shots if they missed. Knight Commander Renia Diaz agreed and action plans were put in place.
July 15th, BeijingThe operation room watched four enemy ships return into the system, and noted that the path took them inline with Wolf mining colony, their fears turned into reality as 98 automated mines were destroyed. The colony was not just a pile of ruins, other than a few technical staff killed there was no civilians at the colony. But with 98 mines destroyed and this was China source of Durnaium. China now felt very despondent. It was being blasted back to the Stone age.
July 15th, MoscowThe Imperium launched its new fighter, this has speed but still only the sensor package and firepower of the old Udalay Fighter Class. The Skory would atleast be able to intercept the fast Hamir ships.

The August attacks were similar to the April attacks, however only a few missile made it through the NPR defences, the new tactics were working, the few that did make it through destroyed the final CSU corvette, and a OPAB shipyard. It was so much of a vast improvement the Hamir missile ships moved into the range of the 3 remaining Wildschwan, which fired a volley, however the reason for the moving in range was to fire it very fast AMM's at the NPR defence platforms, after the first initial hits the NPR switched to self defence mode, other then a few damaged system the NPR defence platforms held. The OPAB missile hit but once again only slight damaged the ships with the volley. Earth defences were now holding.
September 8th, MoscowA Hamir ship that had been skirting the inner asteroids, were selected as a target for the Imperium single fighter. The vessel must of been a support or civilian vessel as it did not fire back, however the Imperium made quick work of it. The Lifepods were captured and interrogations revealed that the Chinese had attack colony ships and slaughtered 2-3 million of civilians on the moon. the Imperium brought this to a United Nations meeting although China was heavily condemned, it did not change the fact that Earth was now in a fight of annihilation.
September 20th, BrusselsThe operation room was perplexed as it watched a slow moving, what it knew as a Hamir laser frigate approach Earth. It was obviously damaged, but as it got with 10 million kms, the OPAB missile platform fired all on the single target which was crippled to not moving, it watched as the Imperium single fighter finished it off. The OPAB had also been working on short range mines for the Jump gate these were now ready to be deployed. Three mine layers deployed three mines at the gate. When the November attack began the mines worked well and hit three of the four vessels entering the system, damage must of been sustained as they took a little longer to reach Earth
November 12th, Earth
The November attacks involved 4 ships, the same tactic of the hamir applied firing outside the OPAB sensor range, once again the NPR held it line. Then the Hamir moved in, this time the OPAB focused on a single ship rather then spread, this stopped the ship dead in space. One of it other ships ran for home the other two closed in to fire it AMM. The imperium single fire finished of the wounded Hamir vessel, as once again the Hamir AMM were directed at the missile platform which switched to self defence. The OPAB reloaded and were ready to fire as the Hamir were leaving crippling another ship, the Imperium destroyed that vessel and harassed the last one with so many attacks an passes how it too succumbed to the damage. This was Earth first real victory, the biggest loss was the China Salvage ship that could not make it back to Earth in time, it was only 200k short on protection.
