Loading ordnances

I can´t get my ship/fighters to load missiles: Giving them the order to Load Ordnances from Colony(Earth), after some time they say they have finished but they are still empty...

I have to ask the obvious questions

A) Do they have a loadout specified on the Class window?
B) Are there are missiles of that type on Earth for them to load?
