Alpha Centauri IIIA and Proxima questions
« on: January 22, 2024, 05:37:40 AM »
2 quick questions if i may

- assuming in a 'known stars' game the set up is the same - i have surveyed Alpha Centauri IIIA and it is a terrestrial world, with good minerals however there are no colony costs and the max pop is N/a - am i misunderstanding the planet read out or i have i missed something?

- and again assuming the set up is the same, and only because im new and not wanting to make a rookie error - i cant find any jump points out of Proxima, does that sound right?

TIA

What is the gravity for Alpha Centauri IIIA?

Systems may only have one jump point.

I’ve got terrestrial planet n/a for colony cost, sub tropical mountain, liquid 95.5, nitro-oxygen 0.72, 4.56 pressure, 26.9 temp, 2.13 grav, 213m distance, 27000 diameter, no tidal lock and no max pop

If you have started with standard settings, then maximum gravity for a normal human start is 1.90 and the gravity listed is 2.13. Too high gravity and the planet can not be colonized normally. You will have to use ark modules or gene mod a species with higher gravity tolerance.

Splendid thank you - I may have been starstruck at the tools at my disposal and wondered if grav could be terraformed - thank you
