If you dig around some of the older posts, you'll see some truly gargantuan ships with large parasites. Do a search for "max hull". That should lead you into some interesting designs.

It's called a 'Battle Rider'. When Aurora II or Newtonian Aurora arrive, the concept of 'Sub-light Parasites' might get some tactical attention.

Put a big enough hanger on a ship, and you can fly your parasitic dreadnaughts around.

I saw a tab labelled parasites in the individual unit details screen, and I have no idea what they are.   I looked it up on the wiki, and there's no actual information on parasite ships or parasite tenders. 

I have two guesses so far:

1.   Some kind of star swarm module/missile. 

2.   A towed ship that is using up maintenance resources. 


IT IS A SHIP IN THE HANGER!
