Title: New forum buttons etc. all over the place

Since yesterday there are a lot of colored sqares in the postings and topics. A bit annoying visually. Is there a plan to exchange them to a new look and layout? Will they stay? What is the idea here?

The Like button is also not to my liking, we also have the Thanks functionality.

That's probably a forum update, but Steve might be able to opt-out the novelties he does not like.

There are tags which allow you to search for similar threads. The Likes, which I may turn off.

The tags could be useful, once people get used to them.

The like button I don't personally like

I am new here but I am with Zincat, I don't like the orange like box.  It just stands out so much compared to what is around it.  I feel like my eyes are being forced to look at it.

As I said: "A bit annoying visually"  ;). That one button should be next to the "thanks"-button though...
