Jump Point Stabilization?
« on: May 17, 2020, 08:44:13 AM »
Hi, I was wondering about the specifics of jump point stabilization.  Is the fleet order all that's required or is there more? Because I gave the order with a JPS-150 module, but there is no feedback on whether or not the order was received.

In your case, wait 150 days and see if it's done. It really is that simple, construction ship with the module + order, wait, done. You can even see it on the map, the JP that was supposed to be stabilised should have a square around itself (unlike the usual circle that planets or asteroids have). Do note however, that you have to do the same from the other side too, 1 JP navigable from both sides requires 2 stabilisations.

You can check on the fleet and see which order (if any) it is currently carrying out.

(But yes, issuing the fleet order and advancing time is all that is required.)

I did diddle my display settings a bit at one point, but for me a countdown timer shows up on the map for the fleet in quesiton.

Yes, that works too, its in the left panel on the tactical map, Display > Order time and distance. You see how long till it is stabilised.
