Galatic Maps
« on: March 24, 2009, 10:35:32 AM »
When I view the galatic map, all my systems are stacked on top of each other.  How do I create the map that details jump connections and spreads out the systems, ala Steve's maps in the Trans campaign?

Thank you,
Thorgarth

Shift click to drag, then on one tab, Positions (I think), Save Position.

There are quite a few ways to manipulate systems. Holding shift and dragging with the mouse is the easiest. You can right-click a system and use Save System Positions to store the map once you have set it up as you want. If you click the Help button at the top it brings up a sidebar view with some instructions. They are slightly out of date but correct except for the right-click.

Erik and Steve,

Thank you!  I look forward to seeing the tactical display.
