Jump Point Stabilization not taking long enough
« on: April 15, 2020, 01:19:31 PM »
I would like JPS to take much longer since 180d of construction does not seem like a sufficient incentive to utilize jump systems for commercial ships. Maybe there could be an option to increase this timer/the timer could be increased as a baseline.
Just increasing the time 30-fold seems good to me. This would also give an incentive to research higher level stabilization modules.

It's the same as it was in VB Aurora and having played several long games there, you can never only use jump gates. Granted civilian ships won't need jump engines often, but I don't see that as a issue.

There is a survey speed modifier you can set when creating a new game.

It's a really long time in multi-faction Earth games though.
