Imperial researchers begin further developing better mining techniques, in order to meet the rising demand for Duranium.

Meanwhile the VM-M-01 'Defender' anti-missile missile is developed, to be used against incoming missiles. This will act as an effective deterrent to long-range enemy missiles while the Empire's fast fighter swarms can close in to attack. The missile detection range of these vessels must hence be very large.

Imperial High Command begins to look into expansion. The fifth moon of Holson-A I is a possible candidate for colonisation.


6th April 2052:
The first TIE Scout is complete. It is loaded onto the Centaur and ordered to explore the first jump point.


6th June 2052:
Research begins into turret tracking speed.
This will allow for Imperial ships with reduced agility and speed to track faster-moving targets like hostile fighters and missiles.


6th January 2053:
Research begins into better lasers.


6th July 2053:
Due to the vastness of the Holson system, the Imperial Survey Corps has requested a redesign of the Boundary-class Geological Survey Vessels to increase their range.


6th August 2053:
A humongous store of Duranium, Tritanium and Vendarite is discovered on the fifth moon of Holson-A II.


24th August 2053:
A new system is discovered - named the Balosar system. The sole TIE/sr in the system is ordered to remain in position for 10 days.


4th September 2053:
The TIE/sr Scout is ordered to return to the Holson system. Imperial High Command notes the lack of range and the reliance of a carrier for the TIE/sr Scout to operate. Fleet analysts suggest the fleet look into increasing the size of the Scout by at least 100% its current size, to be more effective in its role as a forward fleet scout.
Also, the Centaur is far too slow in the humongous Holson system, with the vast distances between celestial bodies greatly straining crew deployment time, slowing down operations and demanding greater range.


4th December 2053:
Ion Drive Technology is complete. A slew of new drive upgrades are being developed.


4th March 2054:

Even now unrest increases on Holson Beta, with colonists beginning to rebel, thinking they can get away with it merely because of the distance from Holson Prime. Evidently rebel spies must have infiltrated the Second Outbound Flight to spread their poison.
The Sentinel-class Landing Craft is developed, to secure Holson Beta. The Sentinel-class is capable of lifting 2 entire brigades of ground troops to other worlds, an important tool for the Empire to strengthen its hold on other worlds, as well as invade alien planets should the Empire stumble upon new species in this galaxy.

The two IPV-1 System Patrol Craft are complete. They begin training under the Imperial Academy.
Also, researchers continue research into smaller fuel consumption.


7th May 2065:
A geology team is picked up by the Lambda-class shuttle to be moved to Holson Beta for further geological surveys.

Research begins into better active sensors.

I am pretty sure the Tie fighter has much more power generation than it needs.

It looks like a reduced size laser is used,

I'm not too used to energy weapons, what does the "6" in "6-0.05" mean?
6 is how much energy it needs to fire, 0.05 is how much energy its capacitor gathers per 5-second increment. So there it'd need 120 5-second increments, making it 600 seconds between shots overall, meaning you only need a power plant that gives out 0.05 energy per 5 seconds, not 6.
You can increase how much energy goes into the weapon/5-second by increasing your capacitor recharge rate tech. Using the reduced-sized modifier also greatly decreases how much energy it gets. I think you might have been too far in miniaturization there, but with a smaller power plant, you should be able to fit a laser closer to normal size.

Minor observation regarding the Sentinel:  It can't actually carry two full Brigades as that requires 10 battalions (4 x Line + HQ per Brigade) -

It could be that under the Imperial model you only have three  line battalions per Brigade for RP reasons, but it will give problems when dealing with construction brigades which take up the same space as 5 battalions

So the Sentinel could only carry one construction Brigade (plus up to three other battalions).  Similarly a Divisional Transport would require 21 Battalions    4x(4xLine+Brigade HQ) + Divisional HQ.
