Ian, still playing this campaign?
I am still trying to, I have another post just about ready to go, but that might be the last. Its taken about two months real time for a game advance of three days :(. I have constant 50-second interrupts, possibly due to NPR or Invader or Star Swarm actions (see next post). My only recourse is to allow the game to run in the background while amusing myself with 5.42.  Sent Steve the database but he is busy earning a crust. Shame as it was getting interesting.

I looked into this. The only way is to edit the CSS file for the theme. It currently is set to font-size:x-small.

I've commented out the line in the CSS file for the default theme. It is still mono-type, but now is font-size:medium.

Oh!  Good!

I was reading Ralph's post and wondering what the difference was.  I thought that I was missing something.

What I like about the code box is that it is monospace (correct term?) which makes it even easier to read a design.

Wonder if there is a setting in personal preference to change style of that specific BBCode.

I agree. The code boxes are, excuse me saying that, terrible. I can hardly read the smal print there.

Looking at some posts, the Quote boxes seem to be a lot better.

Code: [Select]
Lets compate the Code Box

To a Quote Box

Yep, quote is a lot friendlier to the eye

The code box for these newer forums and bad on the eyes - the last forums had way better code box.

In saying that, I think the ship designs need to be set apart from main text.

Out of interest do readers prefer ship designs in a code box or would they prefer them in the body of the text (in larger text)? Or is it just my eyesigth that failing. ;D

Creative license and yes, Replacements work automagically :)

Yes absolutely. I had in mind a series of planetary maps published in Journal of the Travellers Aid Society, No 5 I think. I will need to look it out, I really don't like spiders!
In the end all ten replacement battalions were absorbed, the last one a little while after the war, but better than losing a combat unit. I admit I didn't think it would take more than a couple of divisions, but I was losing until the two reinforcement divisions arrived.

That may be the biggest ground combat writeup I've seen. I've never had one on that scale. I assume all the cool details of strategy and areas conquered are artistic license? If that detail is in the game somewhere I've missed it.

Also, forgive me a question unrelated to your AAR: do replacement battalions work automatically, or is there a command I've missed?
