OOC Setup Information for Caesers Republic AAR

Faction Name – Roman Republic

Start Date (playing from 0 but AAR starts at 55BC – although due to the story 0 is actually when Julius reforms the calendar, rather than what we would define as 0 nowadays. )

Starting with the following settings.

80M people
5x Automated mines
2x Construction Factories found during the prologue
100x Conventional Industry to represent the Roman Empires man power rather than actual industry.
15x Scholars (One per Province conquered during the prologue)
5x Maintenance facilities (for convenience)
4x Ground Force Training Centres to represent the dominance of the Roman land Army
1x Naval Academy to represent the rather crappy Navy.
1x Tracking station found during the prologue

A fairly crappy start mineral wise, to give a reason to go out and explore:

5650 Duranium
1123 Neutronium
4356 Corbomite
7646 Tritanium
1243 Boronide
4321 Mercassium
9875 Vendarite
7809 Sorium
3452 Uridium
6574 Corundium
4758 Gallicite

Starting ground units :
Legio I Roma
Legio II Germanica
Legio III Iberia
Legio IV Parthia
Legio V Britannia
Auxilia I Gallica
Auxillia II Gallica
Auxillia III Germanica
Auxillia IV Parthia,
Siege Engineer I,
Siege Engineer II.

Starting Tech: Trans Newtonian, Garrison, Mobile Infantry, Construction Infantry, Gauss cannon tech due to story.

Anyway all of this is better explained in the prologue.

You're going to have a hell of a time getting off the ground before you face a total mineral crash, unless there's a hidden 'k' behind those numbers.

The mineral crash was. .  very. . .  very intentional, and there are a few things in the system I'm not telling people about that will help save the day.  The reason I'm not too worried is because while it's challenging it is very possible to succeed; of the three test games I played with very similar start conditions (just to see what it was like with such a small scale start) I failed once, so i'm fairly confident.
