Create a Jump point to another system?

Hey guys,
I just finished setting up a campaign with the system generation settings set to 100 systems, 90% Local System Gen. Chance, and Local System Gen. Spread set to 7.

I wanted to setup a game with as much clustering as possible and knew with these settings I could get to a point where I run out of jump points to explore new systems, I just didn't realize it would happen so soon. Sol has only one jump point and the system to which it leads has no new jump points so I am stuck with just two systems.

Is there any way to create jump points using SM to more systems? I know how to create a new system, but have no idea how to link to it with jump points.

In SM mode, go to the F9 screen and the jump point tab. There should be a button for New/Create JP.
