Might also try display fusion (available on steam) --- allows quite a bit of tweaking for screen resolutions and such

I dont know what is going wrong, but infinte screen is not working properly.
I have to keep resizing a tab everytime i either close it, or change the tick (time) of the game. So pressing to go foward by 1 day or any time increment will make the open tab to go back to its original size and i have to do all the work by hand all over again. And yes, the 4ever button is not making any change whatsoever. Does anyone has any clue of what is going on?

If you have a 1280x1024

[...]

Also, in Windows settings -> system -> display -> "Scale and Layout" make sure this drop down menu is at 100% instead of 125%

Should point out that this is not an "also". This is the primary solution.

The scaling is all that's required to make the windows fit and is recommended if you have a resolution above x900. Infinite screen programs are an alternative, or if you have a resolution below x900.

Not true.

[...]except that some game windows have the far right side shaved off.  On some game windows, this means you miss essential information or cannot use essential buttons.[...]

This seems (as far as I can see) to be a problem unique to 1280x1024 users, and the 100% scaling fix doesn't work for it. OP was providing a solution for this unique issue, not the more generic scaling issue that most people experience.

And. . .  with 1366x768 screen. . . .  what I can do with? wait a new version of C#?

Thanks

Plug in a second monitor or TV; BlueTooth link to a second monitor or TV;  ShoutCast or AppleTV or whatever tech of choice to a second monitor or TV;  etc.

Or track down some third-party software that allows re-sizing Windows screens and windows.  Run C# Aurora within a virtual machine set to a larger screen size.  Acquire a new computer with a 1440x900 or larger screen.

But no.  No new version of Aurora is ever going to support small screen resolutions unless the C# programming language (or whatever language Steve rewrites Aurora in twenty years from now) natively does so.

Are there actually approved mods? I thought the rule was no mods at all.

If you have a 1280x1024 monitor, like me, C# Aurora 4x is almost playable (if you are willing to drag some of the game windows around) except that some game windows have the far right side shaved off.  On some game windows, this means you miss essential information or cannot use essential buttons.

There is a workaround for that.  Google and download the program "Infinite Screen 1. 72".  Start both Aurora and Infinite Screen.
Open the Aurora screen you want to enlarge, alt-tab to Infinite screen, then click on the "oversize" tab.  Press "reload list".
Find the window you want to enlarge, it is probably at the bottom of the list (all Aurora screens start with CN:WindowsForm10. Window. 8. app. . .  ).  Put a check mark in "forever" then upgrade the "Width" a few clicks.  The Aurora window now gets bigger and shows the shaved-off content if you move the window to the left.   A bit tedious but it works.  As long as you don't reload the list in Infinite Screen, the new Window size tends to persist through closing and opening the Aurora window.

Also, in Windows settings -> system -> display -> "Scale and Layout" make sure this drop down menu is at 100% instead of 125%
