I don't like the espionage rules in aurora they are very simple.
I would prefer to free role play to some degree outside the game, so it is targeted espionage.
Taking into account the team member attributes and how many counter teams are available, as well as a lot of other factors I will devise up a roll formula on success and failure. I will not be showing this formula I don't want for it to be a game of mathematics.
But based on your objective you will get an espionage progress report, and before the final roll. A recon report which will be base on the team ability to view the success as poor moderate or fair. Although it will be how the team sees it not actuality. So it would make espionage harder.
