It seems our mining facilities on Luna are being set up and with the mass drivers in place, we can finally start sending minerals back to Earth. Although there are quite a bit of minerals on Luna, our production capacity on Luna is quite small at the moment. This will be dealt with in the future.

1st February 2029
Our research into Defensive Systems has been completed for now. This now unused laboratory space will be used to increase our mining capacity and then our research capacity.

1st August 2030
Today is a sad day in our great empire's history.  WXN-912, the great leader of our first geology team has been killed in an accident. His genetic offspring have been notified and his funeral will be paid for by the state.

27th February 2030
After all this time, we finally have a scientist capable in the field of Missiles and Kinetic Weapons. This is truly a great day. With his expertise in our hands, we shall make sure that our weapons technology is at the front lines.

11th February 2033
Today, we have after time and hard work increased our research capacity to 400. This will surely bring about new innovations and discoveries.

Good news are the best news. The geological survey ships we had ordered the construction of are now complete. We shall take our first steps out into the big universe within the hour. For now we have given the ships the order to survey the nearest body but this will have to be changed some time in the future.

26Th September 2027
Excellent, HAT-379 has completed all the research projects on time. This will free up quite some lab space. For now we will focus on the areas we do have expertise in and chug along. For now we will research Defensive Systems of one sort or another.

2nd November 2027
Oh my, it seems the WXN-912 Geology Team has done their job magnificently. Their surveys have concluded that the amount of available Duranium on Earth is not the previous estimate of somewhere near 35000 units and is in fact somewhere near 235000 units. The members of the team have all improved their skill with a minimum of one percent unit. Due to their relative lack of experience, their first task shall be to survey any bodies which have the potential to bear minerals of such quantities of availability that they would be worthwhile to excavate. Although for now they shall survey Luna, our friendly little moon.

Ah yes, another officer for our ground forces. Excellent, we could use a few more of them to keep our forces officered as it were. He has some decent skills in Xenology but they are of little use as of right now. But only time will tell how useful he truly becomes.

Our "crack team of ship designers" as they have started calling themselves have cranked out two basic designs for a cargo hauler and geosurvey ship. We have no other point of reference for their effectiveness but we can only hope that they will be successful.

Magneto-plasma Drive E0.9 (5)    Power 200    Fuel Use 9%    Signature 200    Armour 0    Exp 1%
Fuel Capacity 50,000 Litres    Range 137.9 billion km   (231 days at full power)

Geological Survey Sensors (2)   2 Survey Points Per Hour

This design is classed as a Commercial Vessel for maintenance purposes
Our ship yards are being retooled for these ships as we speak. The managers have given us a rough estimate of how long these undertakings will take. Two to three years. Well, could be worse.

Oh, what a wonderful turn of events. It seems a new scientist will be joining our top line of researchers. FFN-665 would appear to be specialized in Defensive Systems. This is good since we might have an inclination to researching better armour and various shielding technologies within the possibly near future. His skills will be put to good use as soon as we make free up some laboratory space for him.

26th September 2026
The cargo hauler we began construction on is now complete. This presents many opportunities for us. Although we know nothing of the geological composition of our local planets, we will begin surveys within a rough year when our geological surveyors are completed.

1st April 2025

A new officer has been allocated to our military. An inspection is in order.

XVS-115. Psychological profile seems promising and his skills are all firmly within the Intelligence areas. This man could be of some use to us. But for now, we will have to put down some basic command structures. Who gets the title of Fleet Headquarters Commander was of little debate. VBO-613 was our highest ranking officer and his skills were quite extensive as well. We can only hope his leadership will be for everyone's benefit.

But then we encountered a slight, error in our plans. We may have a wide pool of available officers, but the tasks demanded of them put the LC's in no place to be taking such burdens of office. Unfortunately we only have two officers deemed skilled and experienced enough to take charge of such matters. This wasn't supposed to happen, but we will have to make due with what little we currently have.

RSR-724, a fine man. His skills within Operations are the best we have available and as such his position as Operations Officer will now be in effect.

VIV-193, on the other hand is a whole other story. He has no skill of which we can put to good use at the moment with all his knowledge being about xeno life forms. We are debating weather to assign him to Communications or with Intelligence. It matters little at this point it might roll down the hill later. But a quick decision was made and Communications will be his place for now. We have reminded him that his position is at this point only temporary and that if he does not learn anything while at work, the next person who has Communications skills will replace him as soon as possible. He is a self-confident bastard though and as such he will try to do his best and we expect nothing less from him.

With the Naval side all wrapped up, the Ground Forces were to be looked over. This however is a bit of the opposite however. It would appear that our ground officers are quite lacking and that many brigades and battalions will have to make due without a commanding officer for now. Although we could fix this problem by increasing our training capacity, we are reluctant to do so at this time.

Another interesting item of note was that HAT-379 has completed his project of increasing our mining production capacity. This will be a great production increase that will trickle down, as it were. But for now his research assignments have been piled up and for now he will be looking into an increase in the civilian economy. One day we will need those wealth units and we want to be damn sure we have them. Meanwhile EJV-739 will be chugging along with his ground unit strength increase.

1st June 2025
Ahh, another officer to the naval side of our small military. How delightful, another man we don't particularly need. While his skills in the Espionage business are quite good, his lack of prior experience really won't allow us to put any trust in him for now. If he displays his worth however, we might reconsider this current assessment.

1st July, 2025
EJV-379 has completed his research into the possibilities of increasing the strength of our ground units. Most excellent. With his assignment over, he has taken to the task of trying to develop a troop transport bay for naval ships. It will be small, but it will due for now. We have no reason as of right now to transport troops so he is in no rush. This has also brought an issue to your eyes. The resource projections estimate we will run out of resources within years. This must be dealt with immediately. Our designers will be putting together ships capable of finding mineral resources within our reach and then some ship capable of transporting equipment must be made. These projects will all take time to come together, but the sooner we get them out of the way the better.

[ooc]Feel free to comment on my writing style or anything really. Constructive criticism is always good.[/ooc]

[ooc]Yupp, took my damned time. I'll make sure to devote at least some time each day to keep things going at a steady pace. Aside from that, I'll make a new thread every 50-100 years or so of in game time, depending on how much happens.[/ooc]

1st January, 2025
As of now or whenever the decision was made, the archiving unit responsible for our "glorious" empire will be me, Unit 413.

An evaluation of our current available commanders leaves much to be desired both in quality and diversity of skills, but we will manage. Which also relates to the scientists we have on pay roll. What a terrible display of skill diversity. Exactly half of them are specialized in Logistics and Ground Combat of which only one is truly useful. This lack of variation must be changed in the future or no progress shall ever be made. That said, we severly lack any sort of logistical technology but other areas of research seem to be heavily explored already. [ooc]I didn't check the assign tech points box, aw yeah![/ooc] This might explain our apparent lack of different specialist, they are to make up for the huge gap we have created.

For now, my superiors will be satisfied with our research labs being allocated into an increase in mining capacity. Stimulates the economy, they claim. Some other logistical research is being done as well, but the progress will be unbearably slow, so nothing will come out of it within the short term.

[ooc]Right, I have roughly three days of nothing else to do, so I'll try and crank out as much as possible.[/ooc]
