Cannot generate new game

I hit the new button but it looks like the previous window instead of becoming larger and more detailed like I see on the YouTube videos, and I cannot play as no races exist.

You haven't fully updated the game, it probably says like 4.2 or 5.53 in the upper right on the screen correct. Properly updated it should show 6.5 or something along those lines. (7.0 shows 6.5, and 7.1 shows 7.1)


Else you really haven't given much information. Perhaps you could screenshot the 2 menus you are seeing.
