Most of the wrecks are mine of course, but I get to salvage a precursor none the less.

Congrats bro. I've never even had a "Battle". I had a skirmish with about 50 800 ton SS against 2 of my Jump Missile Destroyers and I managed to destroy before I fled back through a near by JG.
The only other battle experience I had was when PreC found Sol... You can work out the rest...

Hey, Yay!
Ooo, are those Malverns yours... or theirs? :o
Oh well, you got that sucker!
-
The malverns are indeed mine.
Not pictured, expending 20 frigates(Taskforce 1) to run his mags dry:

next up I'll try building a point defense sensor that actually works.

First battle win is the best feeling. Afterward you start knowing the tricks and tips, you still get some good battles, but its never feel the same as your first win.
Good luck to many more wins.

Heh, I remember my first "battle" win. I thought I was going to lose my whole fleet, but I somehow started doing really well and won ;D
-
Wow, fighters plus DSTS really make a difference.

They can't as near as I can tell even resolve the fighters on active scan, one of which has a scanner himself. I might actually kill these without losses. These are operating a star system away from a carrier thanks to mid space refueling
-
Oh hey, I've never even THOUGHT about stationing tankers for mid-flight refueling! The US military does it all the time-- why not me?
-
Actually I think the whole Fighter / Refueling / support vessel tactics can be explored more. but I never made a mothership big enough for half my plans.

That's quite some mess you got there, I still have yet to experience the horror of precursor ships.
