So I've made a warship with 3 sets of weapons and 3 fire controls, how do I make sure that the right guns use the right fire controls?

Here's the ship in question:
I may up the armor a level or two later.

There is probably a better way but go to the ships window and the combat tab on the ship in question then use the drop downs to assign

Your "colony" ship has no room for colonists ;)

I usually assign weapons to fire controls at pre-battle time through the F8 window. You can also auto-assign fire controls using the Auto FC button.
